It is with great sadness that we send our condolences to Henry, Sharon and family. Aunt Anita was the kindest lady I had the privilege of knowing. She was as close to a Saint as anyone could be. Always greeting everyone with a big welcoming smile. She was so patient as all the family showed up for the summer to spend days in her company, sharing meals and playing cards. It seemed that all were welcome whenever. She will be greatly missed as the last surviving member of the Poirier Aunts and Uncles. She was very much loved by all who had the pleasure of being in her company. She will always remain in our hearts.

I fondly remember my beautiful Aunt Anita and Uncle Pascal and wonderful times spent with them and Henri and other relatives in the Mont Carmel homestead. My late Mom (Toinette) would have been glad to see Anita today. Thank you Henry for sharing your Mom with me over the years. My deepest sympathy to you and Sharon and Paul and your families. With fond memories, your cousin Dianne.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
