Jack and I are so very sad to not have a 2024 visit with Aunt Vivian. We are, though, incredibly grateful to have created a lot of wonderful memories together over the last few years. As my mom's baby sister, it was heartwarming to see the family resemblance, not to mention family traits (baking and meticulous cleaning lol). Vivian, you were this rare combination of aunt, big sister and friend. Jack loved cooking for you and I loved learning how to make a 7 up pound cake that really rises to the occasion!
You were so feisty and full of life and not shy to offer a couple of opinions here and there. (again, lol)
Jack loved all your expressions ('on the tic 'comes to mind)
We will always treasure our times together.
Chris (Kline) and Jack (Lemieux)

We were Vivian’s Summerside next door neighbours. We would enjoy a few giggles over those recent retirement years, Vivian always enjoyed a good laugh. We will sure miss her, she was a lovely lady.
Condolences to her family who she was so proud of.

So sorry to hear about Vivian’s passing. I had the pleasure of working with Vivian at Flinn Merrick. I was a junior secretary and Vivian was such a great mentor to me. She made me feel so welcome and was always available to answer any question I had. Her work was meticulous and she made want to strive for excellence. She became a friend…we enjoyed many breaks and lunches together. There was a group of us who shared so many laughs and had so much fun. Vivian was such a lovely person and so well regarded by everyone. So sorry for your loss.

Heather and Tom, so sorry to read of your Mums passing. I worked with Vivian and Terry at Furness Withy Steamships in Halifax in the late 1950s. I also shared an apt. With your Mum on Pepperal Street. Great couple and great friends. My thoughts are with you. Elaine Stuart Elliot, Wolfville, NS

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
