So sorry to hear of Ivan's passing.I hadn't seen Ivan since before his illness, but when we did cross paths, we always took the time to catch up. He called me "Butterfly",a nickname that stuck since our youth. Will miss him. Thinking of all of you, with heartfelt sympathy. Sincerely Fairlie Paynter McKnight.

Dear Ardie,
Brent and I were heart-broken to learn of Ivan's passing. We had not heard that he was sick. Think it was just late last fall when Brent dropped in for a quick chat with him.
We enjoyed travelling the Island with you both, riding our Gold Wings, but most especially we end our jaunts to Lake George for Americade.
I remember one time, while there, Brent, Linus, and Ivan went for lunch to a little restaurant. After eating, Ivan told a joke and they all burst into belly shaking laughter. They laughed so long and hard (loud too, I'm sure!!) they thought they were going to be thrown out. They laughed all over again back at the motel, when they told us about it. It still brings a smile to my face when I think of the three of them enjoying each other's company.
We send our deepest sympathy to you Ardie, and to your family, on the loss of this " gentle giant" of a man.
With hugs and with grateful hearts---thanks for the memories!
Peggy and Brent.

I am so sorry to learn that Ivan had passed away. I can remember the fun we had working together at both PEI Rental Centre and The Cat Rental Store. I learned a lot from Ivan during those years. He was always quick with comment, and loved telling jokes and stories. Ivan was one of a kind. My condolences to Ardith , Bruce, and Cheryl and families.

Ivan he was big friendly teddy bear. Knew him all my life and also had a great pleasure to have worked with him at Whiteco Rentals and Hewitt Rentals. He would do anything for anyone who asked always there to give a helping hand. My father thought the sun shined on Ivan and also my mom. He and his family were just like family. He would do crazy things to me at work and always got a great laugh from them. We had a a lot of great times while we worked together for many years. Ivan you will be truly missed by your family and friends. Take care friend love B J Harvey

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
