While I didn’t know Diane for long, I considered her a friend.
She was a wonderful roommate and a joy to talk to while we were in the hospital and I was looking forward to getting together for more visits with her.
Josée and Danielle, I thought you took such good care of your mom and it was so nice to meet you both.
My sincerest condolences to you both and all your families for losing your dear mother/grandmother.
May the Lord comfort you in your time of loss.
With love, Olga Callbeck

Condolences to all of Diane’s family. Diane and I have been friends since we were about 11 years old. Then we both went our separate ways as young adults and left the island to have our families. When we retired about 15 years ago, we reconnected in Summerside and picked up where we left off. We enjoyed getting together for coffee and to reminisce about the good old days. Diane was a very kind and generous lady who will be missed dearly.
Rest in peace Diane.

Please accept my sincerest condolences on the passing of your Mom. I met Diane about 8+ years ago when my
parents became Diane’s neighbours. Diane was the kindest and most considerate neighbour anyone could ask for.
I absolutely loved the “open” door policy to her apartment and one always felt welcome and Diane was always willing
to visit. When my parents moved to town from the farm I was concerned how they would adjust and how they would “play”with others but Diane never judged and accepted them for who they were along with all their quirks! I loved how they shared meals and how they were in and out of one another’s apartment’s…just checking on and caring for one another. Our family was truly blessed to have Diane in our lives. She was the perfect example of a “Lady”.
Rest In Peace Diane. I will miss our yearly visits.
It is difficult to loose your Mom and I trust the memories will keep her forever close to your hearts.
Keeping you in thought & prayer.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
