Obituary of Myers, Kimberly Arlene Ann
With the love and support of her family by her side, Kimberly Arlene Ann Myers (nee MacLeod) of St. Nicholas, P.E.I., aged 47 years, passed away peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Friday, February 14th, 2014.
Kim was born on December 5th, 1966 in Summerside, P.E.I. Precious daughter of Sylvia (nee MacArthur) and Keith Barrettt, Summerside and the late Clarence MacLeod.
Beloved wife of Gary Myers and loving mother to her sons, Jonathan Myers (Chelsey) of Slemon Park, Alex Myers (Erika) of St. Nicholas, Mitchell Myers (Brittany) of Slemon Park, step-daughter, Peggy Farrell ( Greg) of Lot 16, and step-son, Joseph Myers (Courtney) of Summerside. Cherished grandmother of Bethany, Alannah, Emma and Sunny.
Also cherished and forever in the hearts of her brothers, Kelly ( Gail) MacLeod of Lot 16, Robbie (Katharina) Barrett of Summerside, step-brothers, John (Cathy) of Hunter River, Fred (Margaret) Barrett of Lot 16, step-sister, Alice (Phillip) of Lot 16. Kim will always be remembered by her mother in-law Laurinda Myers (nee Gallant) of Miscouche, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers in-law, sisters in-law, nieces, nephews and many dear friends who were close to her heart.
Along with her father, Kim was predeceased by her father in-law Edward Myers, her sister in-law Laverne Doucette and her nephew TJ Myers.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside, until Wednesday, February 19th, then to St.John the Baptist Church, Miscouche for a funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations in Kim's memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Prince County Hospital Oncology Unit if so desired. Visiting hours on Tuesday 2 - 4 and 7 -9 p.m.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
