Obituary of Chandler, Edwin Bramwell
The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by his loving family at the Prince Edward Home, Charlottetown, P.E.I. on Thursday, February 27th, 2014 of Edwin Bramwell Chandler, formerly of Borden-Carleton, aged 63 years.
Edwin was born on January 18th, 1951 to his late parents Robert and Shirley Jean (nee Taplin) Chandler.
Beloved husband of Debra Palmer and loving father of Karla Baglole (Tim) of New Glasgow, N.S., Karrie Costain (Chris) of Shamrock and Paige Marie Palmer (Jock) of Charlottetown. Also lovingly remembered by his 4 grandsons Brandon, Evan, Jordan and Nathan and several nieces and nephews. Survived by his brother David Chandler of Charlottetown and his sister Barb VanderRoest (Ben) of Tidnish Bridge, N.S..
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Tuesday, March 4th for a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Edwin's memory to the ALS Society would be greatly appreciated. No visiting hours by personal request.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
