Obituary of Bowles, Mary "Gloria"
The death occurred peacefully at the Summerset Manor, Summerside, P.E.I. on Friday, November 12th, 2021 of Mary "Gloria" (Albert) Bowles of Summerside, aged 81 years. Gloria was born in St. Edwards, P.E.I., to the late Henry and Katherine (Gaudet) Albert.
Beloved wife of the late Robert "Bob" Bowles and loving mother of Sandy (Brian) Hills and Danny Bowles. Also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Mark and Krista MacKenzie.
Survived by her brothers and sisters Claude (Julia), Ronnie (Pauline), Carol (Owen) Gaudet, Aurella (Gerry) Dieser, Marie MacAusland, Pat Albert, sisters-in-law Lorraine, Josie, Margaret and Donna, brother-in-law Tommy MacKenzie and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her brothers and sisters Joe (Stella), Liza (Art) Arsenault, Dora MacKenzie, Beatrice (Wallace) Palmer, Edlow, Ivan, Anna (Lloyd) MacNeill, Roy and Stephen Albert.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside. Due to Covid 19 restrictions, a private funeral mass will be held in the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road at a later date. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Memorial donations in Gloria's memory to Summerset Manor would be greatly appreciated.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
