Obituary of Pearn, Dudley Hugh
The death occurred at his late residence on Thursday June 12th, 2014 of Dudley Pearn of Summerside, P.E.I. and formerly of Miscouche, aged 83 years. Dudley was born on April 19th, 1931 in Bodmin, England to his late parents Alfred and Gladys ( nee Trethewey) Pearn.
Beloved husband of Marjorie Pearn (nee Toms) and loving father of Angela (Edmond) Gallant and Patrick all of Summerside. Also lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Phillip (Christine), Ian (Holly), Robin (Glenna), 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Dudley was predeceased by his son Andrew, brothers Eric, Kenneth, Clifford, Douglas, Norman, sisters Eileen and Joyce.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Monday, June 16th for a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment to take place in the Lot 16 United Church Cemetery, Lot 16. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Dudley 's memory to the Prince County Hospital Equipment Fund would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Sunday 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m.
Members of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 18, Miscouche will hold a service of remembrance at the funeral home on Sunday evening at 6:30 p.m.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
