Obituary of MacIsaac, Alice "Audrey"
The death occurred peacefully at her late summer residence on Thursday, July 24th, 2014 of Alice "Audrey" (nee Bell) MacIsaac of Summerside, P.E.I. and formerly of Central Bedeque, P.E.I., aged 72 years. Audrey was born on November 8th, 1941 in Summerside to her late parents Frank and Cottie (nee Bradshaw) Bell.
Beloved wife of Allan MacIsaac and loving mother of Michael (Trudy) of Hunter River, Lori (Eldon) Gallant of Stanchel, Kelley (Shawn) Power of Johnston's River and Susan Brasier of Ontario. Also lovingly remembered by her 7 grandchildren Greg, Tyler, Madison, Owen, Mason, Kirk, Valerie and several nieces and nephews. Survived by her brothers and sister: Donald (Catherine), Bobby, Wendell (Mary) and Darlene (Eldon) Arsenault.
Besides her parents, Audrey was predeceased by her brother Alan Bell.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Tuesday, July 29th, for a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment to take place in the Searletown Cemetery. Memorial donations in Audrey's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours Monday evening only, 6 - 9 p.m.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
