Obituary of Clow, Rita Marie
The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by her loving family at the Wedgewood Manor, Summerside, P.E.I. on Friday August 22nd, 2014 of Rita Marie (nee Gallant) Clow of Summerside, aged 89 years. Rita was born in Tignish, P.E.I. to her parents Wilfred and Eva (nee Bernard) Gallant.
Beloved wife of the late Lloyd Clow and loving mother of Cheryl (Bill) Fullerton of Summerside, David (Julie) of Moncton, N.B., Sandra (Ron) Geary of Summerside, Janet (Dana) MacDonald of Goderich, ON. She is lovingly remembered by her 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Survived by the following brothers and sisters; Irene, Ethelene (Ed), Lorraine, Wilfred, Shirley (Fred), Norman (Fran) and her sister in-law Bernice.
Besides her parents and husband, Rita was predeceased by her brothers and sister; Johnny (Annie), Bob, Doris (Tony) and granddaughter Marsha.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Monday August 25th, then to St.Paul's Church, Summerside for a funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Memorial donations in Rita's memory to the P.E.I. Alzheimer's Society would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Sunday evening only, 6 - 9 p.m.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
