Obituary of Arsenault, Corinne Marie
The death occurred peacefully at the Wedgewood Manor, Summerside, P.E.I. on Tuesday September 9th, 2014 of Corinne Marie Arsenault of Summerside, aged 96 years. Corinne was born in Urbainville, P.E.I. to her late parents Tim and Loretta Arsenault.
Beloved wife of the late Vernon Arsenault and loving mother of Sandra Durelle of Moncton, NB., Des (Margaret), Janet (Tom) Carew, Norman (Helen MacKendrick) and Donald all of Summerside. She is lovingly remembered by her 13 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband, Corinne was predeceased by her son in-law Leonard Durelle, her brothers and sisters Sid, Leonard, Ernest, Leo, Bella, Irene, Exina, Madeline, Rita, and Aldea.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Friday September 12th , then to St.Paul's Church for a funeral mass at 2:00 p.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Memorial donations in Corinne's memory to the Wedgewood Manor Fund or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Thursday evening only, 6 - 8 p.m.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
