Obituary of Peters, Adelard Joseph
The death occurred peacefully at South Shore Villa, Crapaud, P.E.I. on Tuesday, September 16th, 2014 of Adelard Joseph Peters of Crapaud and formerly of Palmer Rd., aged 82 years. Adelard was born in Palmer Road, P.E.I. to his late parents Maxime and Mary (nee Perry) Peters.
Survived by his brother Aubin Peters of Summerside. Also lovingly remembered by his nieces Darlene Peters, Donna Peters (Wade Duncan), Betty Anne (Kevin) Rayner and nephews Kevin (Caroline) Peters and Ronnie Peters.
Besides his parents, Adelard was predeceased by his brothers John and Fred and sister-in-law Rita Peters.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Friday, September 19th for a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 10:30 A.M. Interment to take place in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Palmer Road. Memorial donations in Adelard's memory to the funeral expense fund would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Thursday evening only, 7 - 9 p.m.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
