Obituary of Wilson, Elizabeth Frances Gladys
The death occurred peacefully at the Wedgewood Manor, Summerside, P.E.I. on Wednesday October 29th, 2014 of Elizabeth Frances Gladys (nee Saunders )Wilson of Summerside, aged 88 years. Elizabeth was born in Worthing, Sussex U.K. to her late parents Albert and Gladys (nee Cooper) Saunders.
She was a War Bride, beloved wife of the late Edward Wilson and loving mother of Jeannette (Vic) Michaud, David (Nancy) and Diane (Bill) Craig. Also lovingly remembered by 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Survived by her sisters Jean Deere and Pam Marsh. Besides her parents and husband, Elizabeth was predeceased by her son John and great grand-daughter Mya (in infancy).
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Saturday November 1st, for a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment to take place in Victoria West People's Cemetery, Victoria West. Memorial donations in Elizabeth's memory to the Alzheimer's Society would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until time of service.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
