Obituary of Coughlin, Cheryl Jean
The death occurred suddenly at the Celebration Hospital, Florida, US on Sunday, February 8th, 2015 of Cheryl Jean Coughlin (nee Hutt) of Summerside, P.E.I. and formerly of Northport, P.E.I., aged 65 years. Cheryl was born in Alberton to her deceased parents Cecil and Eleanor (nee Irving) Hutt.
Beloved wife of Lea Coughlin and loving mother of Dawn Coughlin (John Rix) and Patti (Whitney) Drummond. She will be sadly missed by her three grandchildren Travis Coughlin (Kari Lapointe), Dawson Drummond and Drew Drummond, one great granddaughter Violet Dawn Coughlin and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Survived by many brothers and sisters-in law, remembered by her Superstore family and many friends.
Cheryl was predeceased by her sister Donna O'meara.
A family wake was held on Wednesday, February 11th, 2015 at the Banfield Funeral Home in Florida. By personal request there will be no visiting hours or funeral service held. A Ceremony will take place later in the spring. Memorial donations in Cheryl's memory to the Arthritis Society of P.E.I. or the Cascumpec United Church Cemetery would be greatly appreciated.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
