Obituary of McArthur, Gus Alexander
With heavy hearts, we announce the birth and the death of our baby boy, Gus Alexander McArthur. He was born on February the 17th, 2015 at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. He was welcomed into the world by a team of incredible doctors and nurses but for reasons unknown, Gus's little heart just didn't beat.
Gus was the precious newborn son of Troy and Jillian (nee Grady) McArthur and little brother to Henry. Loving grandson of Grampy Scott and Grammy Cathy Grady, Grampy "Erk" Erskine McArthur, Nanny Nettie Belliveau, Poppy Stewart Grady, and Great Mama Jennie Macquarrie. Also survived by Jayelee (Neal) Grady, Jonathan (Candice and Jackson) Grady, Alex (Jill) Grady and many, many great-aunts, great-uncles and cousins.
Gus is predeceased by his Great Grampy Angus, Nanny Marg, Pépé Gus, Mémé Pearl, Nanny Joan and Poppy George and cousin Josh.
Resting at East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope R., Summerside. By personal request, there will be no visiting hours or funeral service held. Memorial donations in Gus's memory to the Children International Memorial Place or the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated. A private family ceremony will be held at a later date.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
