Obituary of Landry, Douglas William
The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Friday, March 13th , 2015 of Douglas "Doug" William Landry of Summerside, P.E.I., aged 63 years. Doug was born in Summerside to his mother Dorothy (nee Rogers) Landry and his late father Tilman Landry.
Beloved husband of Carolyn (nee Warren) Landry and loving father of Jamie (Catherine) of Summerside and Heather (Cecil Flowers) of Tignish. Also lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Luke, Carlin, Samantha and Mason and several nieces, nephews and brothers and sisters-in-law.
Besides his father Tilman, Doug was predeceased by a brother in infancy.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Tuesday, March 17th, then to St.Paul's Church for a funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations in Doug's memory to the Funeral Expense Fund would be greatly appreciated. NEW VISITING HOURS ARE TUESDAY, 9:30 a.m. UNTIL TIME OF FUNERAL MASS AT 11:30 a.m.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
