Obituary of Bryan, Edward Arthur
The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by his loving family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Friday April 10th, 2015 of Edward Arthur Bryan of Summerside, aged 83 years. Edward was born in O'leary, P.E.I. to his late parents William and Zelma (nee Lockhart) Bryan.
Beloved husband of Jean (nee Gust) Bryan and loving father of Linda (Claude) MacAusland, Christina (Gordon) Ferrish, Trudy (Darren) DeMont, Carla (John) Schurman, Billy (Brenda) all of Summerside and Wayne (Carol) of Kensington. Also lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Amanda Ferrish, Tanya (Pat Heaps), Matthew, Sarah, Joshua and Zachary Bryan and Jessica Schurman, great grandchildren Jaclyn and Robyn Heaps, step-grandchildren Kristina and Kelly Kleim, Andrea Schurman, her children Abigail and Carter, several nieces and nephews and many friends.
Survived by his sisters Lois (Stanley) Fillmore of Baie Verte, N.B. Elizabeth (Sheldon) Henderson of Alberton, Ruthie Kinch of O'Leary, sisters-in-law Lillian Bryan and Joyce Bryan and brother-in-law Alfred Gust.
Besides his parents, Edward was predeceased by his brothers Reg and Bert, brother-in-law Wilbur Kinch, sister-in-law Alma Collins and parents-in-law Edward and Ida Gust.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Wednesday, April 15th, then to Trinity United Church, 90 Spring St.,Summerside for a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Interment to take place in People's Cemetery, Summerside at a later date. Memorial donations in Edward's memory to the Alzheimer's Society would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Tuesday evening from 6 - 9 p.m.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
