Obituary of Gillis, Catherine Kathleen
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Thursday, April 16, 2015, of Catherine "Kathleen" Gillis of Kensington, in her 100th year. Kathleen was born in Indian River to her late parents Joseph and Mary Gillis.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside. Funeral mass will be held at St Marys Holy Family Church, Kensington on Thursday April 23rd at 10:00 am. Interment will be held on a later date at St. Marys Cemetary Indian River. No visitation by personal request.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
