Obituary of Gallant, Mike John
The death occurred suddenly on Thursday, May 14th, 2015 of Mike John Gallant of Miscouche, P.E.I., aged 51 years. Mike was born in Alberton to his parents Pauline and the late Albert Gallant.
Beloved husband of Linda (nee Adams) Gallant and loving father of Kevin (deceased), Danielle, Alex and Matthew. Also lovingly remembered by his grandmother Marcia Gaudet, his sister Nora Lee (Darrin) Gallant, parents-in-law Jerry and Faye Adams; sisters and brothers-in-law Christine (Brian) DeCoste, Tracy (Ian) McDonald and Shelley (Chris) Roach, as well as several nieces and nephews. Mike was also predeceased by his grandparents Gus and Lucy Gallant and grandfathers John P. Gallant and Louis Gaudet.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Monday, May 18th, then to St. Paul's Church for a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in People's Cemetery, Summerside. Donations in Mike's memory to the Prince County Hospital Ambulatory Care or the Miscouche Junior Fire Dept. would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Sunday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
