Obituary of Gaudet, Cedric Joseph
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Tuesday, June 2nd , 2015 of Cedric Joseph Gaudet of Summerside and formerly of St. Nicholas, P.E.I., aged 79 years. Cedric was born in St. Nicholas to his late parents, Leo and Madeline (Gallant) Gaudet.
Survived by his sisters Hilda Landry (Tanton) of Summerside and Marie Gaudet (Gus) of St. Nicholas. Also lovingly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Cedric was predeceased by his brothers Ulric, Herbert, Clarence and Leonard and his sister Frances Gaudet.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Saturday, June 6th, then to St. John the Baptist Church, Miscouche for a funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Memorial donations in Cedric's memory to the Alzheimer's Society or St. John the Baptist Church Fund would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Friday evening only, 6 - 8 p.m.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
