Obituary of Palmer, Barbara Christine
The death occurred peacefully at her late residence on Monday, June 29th , 2015 of Barbara Christine Palmer of Borden-Carleton, P.E.I., aged 52 years. Barbara was born in Summerside, P.E.I. to her loving parents Cecil and Elizabeth (nee Ramsay) Palmer.
Besides her parents, she will be missed by her son Nathan Bell of Oakville, ON. and her daughter Taylor Vandeven of Burlington, ON. , along with many nieces and nephews. Survived by her brothers and sisters: Eleanor (Bob Doyle), Debbie Palmer, David (Stuart Green), Verna (Kenny) Larkin, Roma (Peter) Johns, Anna Pickerins, and Robert (Tammy) Palmer.
By family request, there will be no visiting hours or funeral service held. A committal service will take place at St. Peter's Anglican Cemetery, Lot 11, P.E.I. at a later date. Memorial donations in Barbara's memory to St. Peter's Anglican Church Fund would be greatly appreciated.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
