Obituary of Parkman, Adele Nina
The death occurred peacefully at the Summerset Manor, Summerside, P.E.I. on Monday July 6, 2015 of Adele Nina Parkman of Summerside, aged 83 years. Adele was born in New Glasgow to her late parents Janie (nee Lepage) and Stewart Parkman.
Lovingly remembered by sisters and brothers Gladys (Reg) MacRae, Lyle (Elva) Parkman, Norma (Howard) Watts and Hazel Newson, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Adele was predeceased by her brother Oliver (Audrey), sister Elaine (Don Bulman and Sigurd MacKinnon), brother-in-law Carl Newson and sister Beatrice in infancy.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Thursday, July 9th, for a funeral service in the Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Interment to take place in the New Glasgow Cemetery, New Glasgow, P.E.I. Memorial donations to the Summerset Manor Terra Rossa Household would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Wednesday evening only 6 - 8 p.m.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
