Obituary of Doyle, Patrick Joseph
The death occurred peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at the St. John Regional Hospital, St. John, N.B. on Monday, July 27th, 2015 of Patrick J. Doyle of Summerside, P.E.I. and formerly of Lot 7, aged 64 years. Patrick was born in Alberton, P.E.I. to his late parents Vernon and Corrine (nee MacIssac) Doyle.
Loving father of Virginia Doyle (Shawn Cormier) of Summerside. Also lovingly remembered by his special grandson Alexander Syd Patrick Doyle and several nieces and nephews. Survived by his sister Audrey (Walter) Callaghan of Miminegash and brothers-in-law Al Wallace and Leo Blanchard.
Besides his parents, Patrick was predeceased by his sisters Catherine (in infancy), Christina Doyle, Norma Blanchard and brother Jackie Doyle.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Friday, July 31st, then to St. Paul's Church, Summerside for a funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Memorial donations in Patrick's memory to Prince County Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Thursday, 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
