Obituary of Deighan, Lillian Rita
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Friday, March 11th, 2016 of Lillian Rita Deighan (nee Jeffery) of Summerside, aged 62 years. Lillian was born in Alberton, P.E.I. to her mother Mildred (nee Bernard) Jeffery and her father the late Roy Jeffery.
Beloved wife of Carl Deighan and loving mother of Sean Deighan, Rebecca (Josh) Sewell all of Summerside and Peter Deighan of Victoria, BC. Also lovingly remembered by her three grandchildren Silas, Parker and Scarlett and several nieces and nephews.
Survived by her brothers Leroy Jeffery (Susan), Jim Jeffery and sister Beverley Jeffery, all of Summerside.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Tuesday, March 15th when a service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 4:00 p.m. Interment to take place in St. Paul's Cemetery, Summerside at a later date. Memorial donations in Lillian's memory to the funeral expense fund would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until time of service.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
