Obituary of Jackson, Julie Ann
The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by her loving family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Thursday, April 21st, 2016 of Julie Ann Jackson (nee Perry) of Summerside, aged 57 years. Julie was born in New Market, ON., daughter of Joseph and the late Beatrice (nee MacDonald) Perry.
Loving mother of Stephanie (Ryan) Mendes and Ryan Jackson. Also lovingly remembered by her special little grand daughter Anna Mendes.
Survived by her brothers Roland and Blair, sister Elsie (Peter) O'Gorman and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Besides her mother, Julie was predeceased by her brothers Alan (in infancy) and John.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Tuesday, April 26th, from where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 p.m. Memorial donations in Julie's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Wounded Warriors Canada would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Monday from 4:30 - 7 p.m.
Members of the Summerside Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 5 will hold a Service of Remembrance at the funeral home on Monday afternoon at 4:15 p.m.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
