Obituary of Caissie, Antoine Joseph
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I., on Monday, December 20th, 2021 of Antoine Joseph Caissie of Summerside and formerly of Miscouche, P.E.I., aged 84 years. Antoine was born in Egmont-Bay, P.E.I. to the late Theodore and Elizabeth (Arsenault) Caissie.
Beloved husband of Paulette (Stewart) Caissie and loving father of Ty Caissie, stepfather of Sonny (Linda) Gallant, Holly (Ronnie) MacLeod and Vance Gallant. Also lovingly remembered by his step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.
Survived by his brothers and sisters Evangeline, Yvonne, Rose, Freddie, Joe and Camille.
Predeceased by his stepdaughter Bev Gallant, brothers and sisters John Peter, Alyre, Leo, Maryann, Alodie and Ella.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside. Due to Covid 19 restrictions a private funeral service will be held, by invitation at St. John The Baptist Church followed by the interment. Memorial donations in Antoine's memory can be made directly to PEI Human Society.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
