Obituary of Jelley, Laurena Helen
The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by her loving family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Monday September 12th, 2016 of Laurena Helen Jelley (nee MacEachern) of Summerside, aged 78 years. Laurena was born in Coleman, P.E.I. to her late parents, Daniel and Blossom (nee Bryanton) MacEachern.
Loving mother of Danny, Sterling, David, Sheila (Edgar) Anger - Arseanult, Mike (Tammy) and Gina (Scott Cleary) all of Summerside. Lovingly remembered by her 8 grandchildren Rhonda (Louis), Ben (Christina), Robyn (Ted), Matthew (Marlayna), Mitchell (Susan), Marissa, Jake and Ryan, 4 great grandchildren Teddy, Avery, Oliver and Nash.
Survived by her brothers Sterling (Greta), Toronto, ON, Calvin, Harvey (Alma) all of O'Leary.
Besides her parents, Laurena was predeceased by her brothers and sisters Harold, Rose MacCallum, Elsie MacEachern, Walter "Bud", Margaret Bell, 2 infants at birth, son-in-law Victor Anger and Daughter-in-law Beverly Jelley.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Thursday, September 15th, where a funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel at 3:00 p.m. Interment to take place in People's Cemetery, Summerside. Memorial donation in Laurena's memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until time of service.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
