Obituary of Perry, Mary "Dorothy"
The death occurred peacefully at Clinton View Lodge, Clinton on Sunday, October 16th, 2016 of Mary "Dorothy" Perry (nee Gallant) of Summerside, aged 89 years. Dorothy was born in Summerside to her late parents Frank and Mary (nee Richard) Gallant.
Beloved wife of the late Thomas Perry and loving mother of Tom (Nancy) and Charlotte (Terry) Mathews all of Summerside. Also lovingly remembered by her 2 grandchildren Melissa (Wade) Perry and Jillian (Scott) Thieu, 5 great grandchildren Camden, Rylan, Lucas, Molly and Nina. Survived by her sister Una Gaudet.
Besides her parents and husband, Dorothy was predeceased by her brother Don (Irene) Gallant and brother-in-law Gerry Gaudet.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Wednesday, October 19th, for a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 3:00 p.m. Interment to take place in St. Paul's Cemetery. Memorial donations in Dorothy's memory to the Heart and Stoke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Wednesday from, 1:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
