Obituary of Ramsay, Bernice Lillian
The death occurred peacefully at Bentley Care Center, Bentley, Alberta on Thursday, October 27th, 2016 of Bernice Lillian Ramsay (nee Milligan) of Alberta and formerly of Summerside, aged 91 years. Bernice was born in Poplar Grove, P.E.I. to her late parents William and Lillian (nee Gain) Milligan.
Wife of the late Ernest Ramsay and loving mother of Nancy (Jimmy) Keough, Summerside, Bill, Robbie, Ronnie, Sandra (Murray) Westgard all of Red Deer, Alberta and Edna (Ted) MacLeod, Edmonton, Alberta. Also lovingly remembered by her 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Survived by her sister Joyce MacKinnon, brother Frank (Josephine) Milligan, sisters-in-law Velda, Shirley and Etta Milligan.
Bernice was predeceased by her daughters in-law Sandra and Em Ramsay, brothers; Wyman, Foster, Sterling (Marge), Charlie (Edna) and Elmer, brother-in-law Reg MacKinnon and grandson Jacob MacLeod.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside, until Wednesday, November 2nd, where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment to take place in Freeland United Church Cemetery, Freeland. Memorial donations in Bernice's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. By personal request there will be no visiting hours held.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
