Obituary of Gallant, Patricia "Pat"
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Saturday December 10th, 2016 of Patricia "Pat" Ann Gallant of Miscouche, P.E.I. aged 73 years.
Beloved wife of Edward Gallant and step-mother of Stephen, Wanda (Gary) Richard, several step grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Survived by her mother Lucy Nicoline and sisters Deanna (Art) Herbert, Louise Leblanc, Linda (Mark) Thorpe, Dorothy Latimer and Jennie Hampton.
Predeceased by her brother in-law George Leblanc.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home 245 Pope Road, Summerside, until Thursday, December 15th where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:30 p.m. Interment to take place in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Miscouche. Memorial donations in Pat's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society Fund would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hour will be held on Thursday from 1:00 until 2:15 p.m.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
