Obituary of Farnsworth, Louise Audrey
The death occurred peacefully surrounded by her family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Tuesday January 24th, 2017 of Louise Audrey (nee Hebb) Farnsworth of Summerside, aged 81 years. Louise was born in Bridgewater, NS. to the late Wilbert and Margaret (Ramey) Hebb.
Beloved wife of Karl Farnsworth and loving mother of Kevin (Paula). Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Ashley (Matt), Dana and Danielle.
Survived by her brothers and sisters William, George (Maryanne), Hylda (Robert), Dorene and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Louise was predeceased by her son Douglas, brothers and sister James, Robert and Donna.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Saturday, January 28th, where a funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel at 10:00 a.m. Interment to take place in Aylesford Cemetery, Aylesford NS. at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donation in Louise's memory to the Canadian Cancer Research Society would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Friday evening from 6 - 8 p.m.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
