Obituary of Gallant, Angela Denise
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Friday, March 17th, 2017 of Angela Denise Gallant (nee Pearn) of Summerside, aged 61 years. Angela was born in Liskeard, England to her mother, Marjorie (nee Toms) Pearn and her father, the late Dudley Pearn.
Beloved wife of the late Edmond Joseph Gallant (who passed on March 4th, 2017) and loving mother of Phillip (Christina), Ian (Holly) and Robin (Glenna). Also lovingly remembered by her six grandchildren Chloe, Lily, Quentin, Erica, Malin and Naia. Survived by her brother Patrick Pearn of Summerside.
Besides her father and her husband, Angela was predeceased by her brother Andrew Pearn.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Wednesday, March 22nd, where a funeral service will be held for both Edmond and Angela Gallant in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment to take place in the Lot 16 United Church Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Angela's memory to the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Tuesday evening only, from 6 - 8 p.m.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
