Obituary of McAlduff, Priscilla Mary
The death occurred peacefully with family by her side at Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Tuesday May 2nd, 2017 of Priscilla Mary McAlduff (nee Shea) of Clinton View Lodge, Clinton, P.E.I., aged 91 years. Priscilla was born in Pleasant View, P.E.I. to her late Emmett and Pearl (nee McCue) Shea.
Beloved wife of Edward McAlduff and loving mother of Paul (deceased) Brenda, Summerside, Judy (Keith) Broderick, Summerside, Fay (Bob) Gavin, Summerside, Tommy (Bonnie), Darnley and Susan (Ron) Stanley, Summerside. Also lovingly remembered by 9 grandchildren Scott, Kelly, Brent, Alan, Ryan, Kristi, Sarah, Jessie and Emma, 9 great grandchildren Rebecca, Lexi, Quinn, Cole, Callie, Bree, Wil, Madelyn and Abigail and several nieces and nephews.
Survived by her sister Geralda Corcoran, Summerside, sisters in-law Ada Shea, Windsor, ON and Genevieve McAlduff, Waterfront.
Besides her parents and son Paul, Priscilla was predeceased by her brothers James (Rita) and Bert, sisters Eileen Schwartz, Frances Harrington, Florence Ellsworth, Jennie Lanonther, brothers in-law George and Lester (Catherine) McAlduff.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Friday, May 5th, then to St. Paul's Church, Summerside for a funeral mass at 10:30 p.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Memorial donations in Priscilla's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Thursday from 4 - 7 p.m.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
