Obituary of Cormier, Toussaint Joseph
The death occurred peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the O'Leary Community Hospital, O'Leary, P.E.I. on Thursday, May 18th, 2017 of Toussaint Joseph Cormier of Le Chez Nous, Wellington, aged 90 years. Toussaint was born in Egmont Bay, P.E.I. to the late Benoit and Delina (nee Arsenault) Cormier.
Beloved husband of Yvonne (nee Richard) Cormier and loving father of Desmond (Terry), Claudette (Gerry), Dennis, Glen and Carl. Also lovingly remembered by his 6 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Survived by his sisters Irene Bernard, Zita Gallant, Imelda (Edmond) Arsenault, Ella Caissie, Marguerite Gallant and brother in-law Alyre Arsenault.
Besides his parents, Toussaint was predeceased by his brothers Tilmon, Alyre, Antoine, Edmond and Joseph, sisters Lucy and Corinne.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd. Summerside until Tuesday, May 23rd, then to St. John the Baptist Church for a funeral mass at 2:00 p.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Memorial donations in Toussaint's memory to St. John the Baptist Church or P.E.I. Lung Association would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Monday evening, from 6 - 9 p.m.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
