Obituary of Kozarevich, Michael
The death occurred peacefully at Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Monday, May 29th, 2017 of Michael "Mike" Kozarevich of Summerside and formerly of Miscouche, P.E.I., aged 94 years. Mike was born in Montreal, Quebec to the late John and Antonia (nee Ivaniuk) Kozarevich.
Beloved husband of the late Irene Wendt- Kozarevich (nee Farrell) and loving stepfather of Frank (Rachelle) Wendt of Vancouver, B.C. Also lovingly remembered by his 2 grandchildren Joelle (David) Fiteni and Dylan (Lori) Wendt, 2 great grandchild Laudun Wandt and Remy Fiteni and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents and wife, Mike was predeceased by his brothers Nicholas, Stanley and Leonard.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Friday, June 2nd, then to St. John the Baptist for a funeral mass at 2:30 p.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Memorial donations in Mike's memory to the Alzheimer Society or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Friday from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
