Obituary of Lucker, Jack G.M.
Jack G. M. Lucker, age 76, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 2nd, 2017 at Prince County Hospital. He was born on February 18th, 1941 in the Netherlands. Jack arrived in Canada at the age of 18 and settled in Summerside in 1968.
He was the owner-operator of Summerside businesses Jack's Quality Meats and then The Butchers Block. Jack was active in the community, including many years in the Kinsmen and then the Lions Club.
He is survived by children Mike (Helen), Linda (Scott Ferguson) and Tina. Also survived by siblings Trudy, Louis, Paul, Connie and best friend Shirley Clow. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, Summerside, P.E.I. In keeping with the wishes of Jack, there will be no viewing or funeral service. Memorial donations in Jack's memory may be made to Diabetes Canada.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
