Obituary of Cantelo, Aurelie "Helen"
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Sunday, July 9th, 2017 of Aurelie "Helen" Cantelo (nee Haddad) of Summerside, aged 78 years. Helen was born in Hull, Quebec to the late Jean and Lila Haddad.
Beloved wife of Lloyd Cantelo and loving mother of Donald (Cheryl). Also lovingly remembered by her 2 grandchildren Shea and Devin. Survived by her sister Bernie Desormeaux, special nephew Gerry Desormeaux and several nieces and nephews.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Thursday, July 13th, then to Trinity United Church, Summerside for a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in the Dundas Community Cemetery, Dundas at a later date. Memorial donations in Helen's memory to the Children Wish Foundation or P.E.I. Alzheimer's Society would be greatly appreciated. Visitation hours on Wednesday from 2 - 5 p.m.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
