Obituary of Campbell, Loman Ottis
The death occurred at his late residence on Tuesday, July 18th, 2017 of Loman Ottis Campbell of Summerside, aged 63 years. Loman was born in Enmore, P.E.I. to his late parents Reginald and Mabel (nee Bridges) Campbell.
Beloved husband of Angel MacDougall and special friend to his puppy "Casey". Loving father of Shawn (Heather), Chris and Shane (Laura) all of Summerside. Also lovingly remembered by his 8 grandchildren: Lorinda, Emma, Brittany, Kaley, Myranda, Trisha-Lee, Travis and Tosha, his 4 great-grandchildren Calvin, Abagail, Leah and Macy and numerous nieces and nephews. Survived by his brothers Hughie (Lil Wagner), Edward (Doreen), Minor (Sandra) and Leslie (Charlene).
Besides his parents, Loman was predeceased by his brother Nelson and his sister Eleanor Bulger.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Friday, July 21st , where a funeral service will take place in the funeral home chapel at 10:00 a.m. Interment to take place in the Victoria West Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Loman's memory to the Funeral Expense Fund would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Thursday evening only, 7 - 9 p.m.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
