Obituary of Perry, Cedric Joseph
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Monday, November 6th, 2017 of Cedric Joseph Perry of Summerside, P.E.I., aged 66 years. Cedric was born in Summerside to his late parents Clifford and Bertha (nee Gallant) Perry.
Also lovingly remembered by his brothers and sisters: Bob (Guelda) of Summerside, June Crawford (Bill) of Prince George, B.C., Joanne Cochrane (Steve) of Cole Harbour, N.S., Gordon (Jeannette) of Mt. Uniacke, N.S., Alvina Richie (Dale) of Mt. Uniacke, N.S. and Richard of Halifax, N.S. and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents Cedric was predeceased by his brother Russell and his stepmother Kathleen (nee MacIssac) Perry.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Thursday, November 9th, where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment to take place in St. Paul's Cemetery, Summerside. Memorial donations in Cedric's memory to the Prince County Hospital Foundation or to St. Paul's Cemetery Fund would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Wednesday from 5 - 8 p.m.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
