Obituary of Warner, Dorothy Elizabeth
The death occurred peacefully at the Wedgewood Manor, Summerside, P.E.I. on Thursday, November 23rd, 2017 of Dorothy Elizabeth (nee Hardy) Warner of Summerside, P.E.I., aged 86 years. Dorothy was born in Yarmouth, NS. to the late Gordon and Dorothy (nee Glen) Hardy.
Beloved wife of 69 years to Kenneth Warner and loving mother of Kenneth (Brenda), Greenwood, NS., Debra (David) Gallant, Summerside and Glen (Susan), Dartmouth, NS. Also lovingly remembered by her 5 grandchildren Mitchell, Liam, Erin, Sean and Chelsea.
Survived by her sisters Joan (John) Wolfe, Marion (Bob) Hamilton, Ethell (Ralph) Lawrence, Betty (Stan) Johns, Coleen (Ozzie) Burke and Karen (Don) Davison all of Halifax, NS. and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Dorothy was predeceased by her brothers Kenneth and Bernard Hardy.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside. By personal request there will be no visiting hours or funeral service held. Memorial donations in Dorothy's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
