Obituary of Trainor, Gregory Joseph
The death occurred peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, P.E.I. on Wednesday, December 27th, 2017 of Gregory Joseph Trainor of the Sherwood Home, Charlotteown, aged 49 years.
Gregory was born in Summerside, P.E.I. to his parents Louis and Mary (nee McCabe) Trainor. Besides his parents, he is survived by his sisters and brothers: Sheila of Summerside, St. Clair, George (Marg), and Dorinda all of Medicine Hat, AB., his nephew Trevor of Medicine Hat, AB. and his niece Jillian of Alberton. Also lovingly remembered by his aunts, uncles, cousins and especially past and present staff of the Sherwood Home, Charlottetown who he considered family.
Gregory was predeceased by his sister Eunice.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Saturday, December 30th, where a funeral service will take place in the funeral home chapel at 2:30 p.m. Interment to take place at a later date in St. Ann's Church Cemetery, Hope River. Memorial donations in Gregory's memory to the Cerebral Palsy Society would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Saturday afternoon only, from 1:00 until 2:15 p.m.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
