Obituary of Dugay, Michael "Mikie" Joseph
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Friday, March 30th, 2018 of Michael "Mikie" Joseph Dugay of MIscouche, P.E.I., aged 53 years. Mikie was born in Summerside to the late Emmanuel and Doris (Bernard) Dugay.
Survived by his brothers and sisters Ron (Judy), Sonny (Norma), Gary (Julie), Clair (Mike) Moore, Florina (Austin) MacLeod, Bruce (Barb), Gerard, brother in-law Ivan Curley, his special fur friend Melvin and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Mikie was predeceased by his sister Bernadette Curley, nephews Jason and Ron Jr. Dugay.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Wednesday April 4th, where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 10:30 a.m. Memorial donations in Mikie's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. Interment to take place in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Miscouche at a later date. Visiting hours on Tuesday evening from 5 - 8 p.m.
Due to severe allergies of some family members, please refrain from wearing scents or perfumes during the visiting hours or funeral service.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
