Obituary of Gallant, Frank Edmond "Eddy"
The death occurred peacefully with his loving family by his side at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Friday, March 30th, 2018 of Frank Edmond "Eddy" Gallant of Summerside, P.E.I., aged 71 years. Eddy was born in Cork Station, NB. to the late Albenie and Marie (LeClair) Gallant.
Left to mourn is his dear and special friend Kate Bernard, his children Lillian, ON., Edward, BC., Stephen, ON. and Marc, Quebec.
Survived by his brothers and sisters Eric (Melina), Summerside, Peter (Jane), New London, Helen (Robert) Hyponen, ON., Jeanette (Gordie) Gabriel, Della (Mike) Wisener, Summerside and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Eddy was predeceased by his brothers Andy and Edgar.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside. Memorial donations in Eddy's memory to the Palliative Care Unit Prince County Hospital would be greatly appreciated. By personal request there will be no visiting hours or funeral service held.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
