Obituary of MacDonald, Malcolm Robert "Bob"
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Thursday, April 5th, 2018 of Malcolm Robert "Bob" MacDonald of Chelton, P.E.I., aged 87 years. Bob was born in Pictou, NS. to the late John and Flora MacDonald.
Beloved husband of the late Shirley (nee Bears) MacDonald and loving father of Barbara Lavigueur of Eastern Passage, N.S. and Lloyd MacDonald of New Haven. Also lovingly remembered by his 5 grandchildren: Bob, Coady and Chelsea MacDonald and James and Richard Lavigueur and his nephews Sandy (Joan) Bears of Halifax, NS. and Charles (Linda) Bears of Alberta.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside. Memorial donations in Bob's memory to the Bedeque United Church Fund would be greatly appreciated.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday April 30th, 2018 from 1:30 p.m until time of funeral service at 2:30 p.m. at the Bedeque United Church, Bedeque.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
