Obituary of Fraser, Barbara Eileen
It is with sadness in our hearts we announce the passing, of our Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother, peacefully with her family by her side at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Sunday, April 22nd, 2018 of Barbara Eileen (Marshall) Fraser of Summerside, P.E.I., aged 73 years. Born in New Glasgow, NS., daughter of the late Alex and Jean (Morrell) Marshall.
Beloved wife of the late Charlie "Sonny" Fraser and loving mother of Tanya (Carl) LeClair, Fernwood P.E.I and Todd (Denise) Fraser, Ellerslie, PE. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Joey LeClair, Ashley LeClair, Robbie Fraser, Jamie Marie Fraser, Alex Fraser, Keith Steele, Greg Hodder and by her great-grandchildren Kenzie, Charlie, Cas and Jacob. Survived by her brothers Abby (Genesta) Marshall, Deep Brook NS, Alan (Barb), Mississauga, ON, sisters Enid Teed, Westville, NS., Verna Beddow, Sarnia, ON., sisters-in-law Irene Whitman, Matheson, ON., Debbie (Wayne) Burke, Sydney, NS. and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband, Barb was predeceased by her son Robert, granddaughter Sarah, great-grandson Robert and brothers Vernon, Buddy, Garfield, Dennis and sisters Brenda and Ramona.
We would like to take this opportunity on Barb's behalf to thank Leif Christenson NP, Dr. Drost, Palliative Home Care Program, PCH Staff, Dr. Pan and Oncology Staff, Evelyn Waite, Lloyd and Diane Buchanan, Pat and Janet Kelly and Jamie Houde for their support throughout her illness. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside. By personal request, there will be no funeral service or visiting hours held. Interment to take place in the Auburn Cemetery, Westville, NS. at a later date. Memorial donations in Barb's memory to Canadian Cancer Society or Prince County Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
