Obituary of Ozon, Douglas Matthew
Douglas Matthew Ozon, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I., on Tuesday, May 1st, 2018, aged 84 years. Born in Borden, P.E.I., son of the late William and Blanche (Matthews) Ozon.
Beloved husband of Barbara (Gaudet) Ozon and loving father of Donna McOrmond, Susan (Frank) Bell, Steven (late Janet Boyko) Ozon and Carla Campbell (Bill Drost). Lovingly Grampie to Heather and Chelsea McOrmond, Brittany Bell, Jillian and Taylor Campbell, Blake and Alexandra Ozon and numerous nephews and nieces. Survived by his sister Laura Carey.
Predeceased by his brothers Ralph and Keith, sisters Ethel, Frances and Emma (infancy).
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Friday, May 4th, where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:15 a.m. Interment to take place in the Searletown Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations in Douglas memory to the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Friday from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
