Obituary of Daigle, Edmond Joseph
The death occurred peacefully at the St. Joseph's Hospital, Hamilton, ON., on Monday, July 2nd, 2018 of Edmond Joseph Daigle of Hamilton, ON. and formerly of Summerside, P.E.I., aged 91 years. Edmond was born in Pointe Sapin, NB. to the late Sebastian and Lucy Daigle.
Beloved husband of the late Clarisse (Bernard) Daigle. Edmond will be sadly missed by his three children Monette, Nicole (Mark) both of Waterdown ON, and Rheal of Burlington ON, as well as his two grandchildren Lauren and Tyler.
Besides his parents and wife, Edmond was predeceased by his brothers Elide, Armand and Arsene and sisters Delima, Elva, Edith and Melina.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Friday, July 20th, then to St. Paul's Church, Summerside for a funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Memorial donations in Edmond's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. By personal request, there will be no visiting hours held.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
