Obituary of Hayes, Earle Henry
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Thursday, July 26th, 2018 of Earle Henry Hayes of Summerside, P.E.I. and formerly of Yarmouth, N.S., aged 88 years. Earle was born in Lynn, Massachusetts, U.S.A. to his late parents John and Frances (nee Saulnier) Hayes.
Beloved husband of Genevieve (nee Muise) Hayes and loving father of Tony (Cyndi) of Hubbards, N.S., Hugh (Marcia) of Melbourne, ON., Kimberley (Greg) MacDonald of Woodstock, ON., Heather Beacham (Wade Drummond) of Freetown, Ann Hayes-McKenzie (Nick) of Charlottetown and Peter of Grand Prairie, AB. Also lovingly remembered by his 17 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and brothers and sisters-in-law.
Besides his parents, Earle was predeceased by his sister Jessie Wall.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Monday, July 30th then to St. Paul's Church, Summerside for a funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Memorial donations in Earle's memory to St. Paul's Church Cemetery Fund or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Sunday evening, 5 - 8 p.m.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
