Obituary of Curran, Russell Phillip
The death occurred peacefully at his late residence on Wednesday, August 8th, 2018 of Russell Phillip Curran of Summerside, P.E.I., aged 65 years. Russell was born in Egmont-Bay to the late Emmett and Bernetta (nee Milligan) Curran. Beloved husband of Sheila (nee Noel) Curran and loving father of Derek and Kris Curran.
Survived by his brothers and sisters Roy, Wally (Shirley), Dave (Norma), Mary Alice (Louis) Gallant, Glenn Arsenault, brother-in-law John Adams, sisters-in-law Mary Curran and Lorrie Jess and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his brothers Frank, Harry and Audrey, sister Stella Adams, brother-in-law Peter Arsenault and sister-in-law Elsie Curran.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Friday, August 10th, where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 p.m. Interment to take place in St. Philippe and St. Jacques Cemetery, Egmont-Bay, P.E.I. Memorial donations in Russell's memory to East Prince Palliative Home Care would be greatly appreciated. By personal request, there will be no visiting hours held.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
