Obituary of Green, Allison "Allie"
The death occurred at the Wedgewood Manor, Summerside, P.E.I. on Thursday, August 23rd, 2018 of Allison "Allie" Green of Summerside, P.E.I. and formerly of Albany, aged 75 years. Allison was born in Summerside to the late Layton and Helena (Keough) Green.
Beloved husband of Judi (MacLure) Green for 49 years. Dearly loved and respected father of Geoffrey (Jayne) of Ontario and Janna of Summerside.
Loving grandfather of Joe and Charlie.
Survived by his younger sisters Sandra (Mike) Foran, Paula (Elmer) Smith and Joanne Campbell, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Also predeceased by his in-laws Reg and Mary MacLure.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Tuesday August 28th, then to St. Peter's Church, Seven Mile Bay for a funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Memorial donations in Allison's memory to St. Peter's Cemetery Fund, PCH Equipment Fund or Wedgewood Manor Memorial Trust Fund would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Monday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
